Georgia Tech Faculty and Staff
The number of faculty and staff required to support the student body that has rolled through Tech over the years is immense. Countless dedicated men and women have labored to impart knowledge, manage the Institute’s many facets and serve its unlimited needs. Each person has made unique contributions; each builds on the strengths of those who came before them – all the way back to the first five professors and first five shop supervisors who opened the school in 1888.
The Faculty and Staff Web pages highlight some of Tech’s great employees. Many of the pages were created from the records of Dr. James R. Stevenson, executive assistant to the president emeritus, who spent years compiling extensive information about Tech’s illustrious faculty. In addition, some of the pages come from the Georgia Tech Living History Collection.
