Alumni understand the rigors of being a student at Tech. So who better to assist future alumni as they work towards that coveted degree? Mentor Jackets engages current Georgia Tech students (second year and up) and alumni in one-on-one personal and professional mentoring relationships. Alumni act as role models by sharing life experiences and advice with current students while teaching them how to succeed at Tech and beyond. Students have the unique opportunity to learn about specific career paths and seek guidance from alumni who work in a variety of fields and professions. Mentor Jackets is open to all alumni. Volunteer today to inspire, encourage and support a Tech student today!

Tech alumni living in Georgia can also volunteer to be a mentor for a group of incoming freshmen through the Freshman Partner Program. Freshman Partners are Tech faculty, staff and alumni who help first-year students get acclimated to Tech by acting as a resource, friend, role model and much more. Activities include social events, discussions about majors and careers and other educational activities. Anyone seeking more information about the Freshman Partner Program may contact Georgia Tech Housing at fp@housing.gatech.edu.
